Stover Bros. Café was created to offer customers more choices without sacrificing quality or affordability.
Charles Stover, creator of Stover Boys Burgers and former owner of Square One Downtown, teamed up with Village Foods owner, Jim Lewis to create something completely new.
Stover said:
"At square one we offered creative food for people who appreciated a higher-end experience. Stover Boys Burgers, on the other hand, had a much more limited focus. We were all about great burgers, fries, and shakes. Stover Bros. Café combines the best of both worlds – with some added new flare."
Lewis said:
"Village Foods had a deli. We served food that was okay but I wanted it to be more special than that. I wanted the food to be so good that people would come in to get it even if they weren't otherwise shopping at Village Foods – which, of course, would be nuts. I've always been impressed by the passion and creativity that Charles puts into his dishes, so I just knew we could come up with something people would love."
We have come up with something that was WAY beyond what we originally expected.
The local chef joins the local businessman and Stover Bros. Café is born. Come enjoy our fresh creations.
